Another big goal

Well besides reading the Bible in 90 days, I've also been doing the Couch to 5K training. I'm actually on week 4 and yesterday I walked/ran for 1.75 miles! My intervals are 3 and 4 minutes right now and I haven't passed out from exhaustion yet. But I love feeling fit and I'm almost halfway to my goal of running a (theoretical) 5K! Theoretical because my knees are so bad I don't think I could ever run on the streets for that long. All of my training has been on the treadmill and that's ok with me. My next fitness goal is to graduate from the 5K program and do the 5k to 10k program. Sounds like fun, right :) it's not too bad so far. I just run when the kids are in bed and I'm watching tv. We moved the treadmill in front of the tv, so there's only one place to sit and the treadmill. It's good motivation to at least walk instead of sitting all the time. Mr. P has been getting his running in as well. It's nice to be able to get up and move without having to go outside in the scorching heat.

Speaking of fitness, B has decided that he's going to be a walker now! He took a long while, but he just stood up and started walking one day and hasn't turned back. I have a feeling his talking abilities are going to be the same way, though he has started saying "juice" and "Scout", though Scout sounds like "dat" just like "bite" and "that" and "daddy". But, we'll take it!
