Deborah, Samson, mighty judges of Israel!
S: The mountains quaked before the LORD, the One of Sinai,
before the LORD, the God of Israel. (Judges 5:5 NIV84)
O: God is all powerful. Even the mountains shake when faced with God!
A: When everything was going well, when Israel won battles, they remembered to thank the Lord. But they always quickly forgot him and began worshipping other gods. Do I only remember God when it's convenient?
P: Almighty God, you are the beginning and the end and even the mountains obey your command. I don't only want to thin if you when it's convenient, but all the time. I want to praise you in the harvest and in the drought. Keep my heart focused on you all the time. Amen.
