Successful Weekend

Well,  This weekend was one of the most productive we've had in a while.  Not that every other weekend we just loaf around.  But yesterday we cleaned the house from top to bottom.  I know Daddy probably doesn't like doing it that way, but I enjoy the company and his attention to detail.  He also helped me hang some pictures, my paper towel rack, spice rack, and a few other things.  Little projects that we kept putting off.  Anyways, the house is as immaculate as it will ever be with a toddler and a new puppy.
Today we had a great day at church (as usual) and R and I went to the store while Daddy taught his class.  Nothing out of the ordinary there.  R was on her best behavior today.  She even went potty during church!  She was helpful and patient at Wal-Mart.  I almost wanted to check the serial number to make sure that she was mine.  I cherish these phases where she wants to please me.  It usually lasts for a few days (although this one has lasted pretty much this whole week, yippee!) and then I have a few weeks of demon-child (only with me, with everyone else, she is an angel).  I'm just enjoying this time where I don't have to think about what kind of punishment is going to work this time.
Our small group (or part of it) came over for a game night at our house tonight.  What a riot.  I love my group.  We played Cranium and it was a hoot!  Girls against guys and we smoked the boys!  One card said that we had to unscramble some words to make up new words and the clue was "Plastic Couple."  Now who in their right mind wouldn't get that?  They didn't even say the words to unscramble and I guessed "Barbie and Ken."  Right?  It seemed to go like that the whole night.  Super fun.  The boys weren't even close.  We're definately playing that one again.
Time to start another week.  Although this week will be quieter.  Gymnastics tomorrow, then Grampa Shore comes Wednesday night and stays through Saturday.  What fun!  We've got a few projects to work on and it will be a blast.
Goodnight!
