In potty training news, I have started the "reverse psychology" method, and it may be working. Rather than pushing her and butting up against her stubborn nature, I took her potty chair away and just said that she's not ready. She BAWLED. Good sign! She's going to be a "baby" for a couple weeks, and see how not-fun it is having to deal with diapers all the time, and how gross they are. I'm hoping that when Daddy comes home, and plays the "IF you were a big girl, you could..." line, she might fall for it. I am just tired of fighting her. She has a stronger will than i do. Any volunteers for potty training my daughter. I read in my Parenting magazine that they pay "Professional Potty Trainers" $60 an hour (for typically 5-6 hours) to potty train their kids. Or MORE! This might be something to look into! But for now, I'm totally bummed that there aren't any in the state of Oklahoma. Oh well. I have to do it the old-fashioned way of training her myself, with whatever ideas I can come up with. I'll keep you updated on the progress.
Nothing else tonight, except that I'm not leaving my house tomorrow, too icy. Just going to hang out, eat soup, and watch movies with my sick little girl. Hope you have a great week!

Good, good, GOOD luck to you with this. I truly hope it goes much better than my first time experience. Let me tell you - I would have (and did) pay big bucks for the professional help - not that you need that, and probably never will. Don't give up - she'll come through eventually - and until then, I'll pray for ya! :-)
