Babies!

I woke up today expecting a normal day, but as usual I got surprised!  First on the list of extra-ordinary things was the fact that Tianna and I both seemed to get the hang of the milking thing this morning.  We had a peaceful time and that's always better for everyone.
At (the goats') breakfast, I noticed Snow White was a little slow getting up on the stand, but she's HUGE, so I could relate.  No signs of labor.  I walked outside at about 11:20, because I couldn't see her anywhere, and caught her all alone in the barn.  I ran back inside, got the supplies, called Daddy to tell him to come home, and ran out to the barn with R to find this:

Our over-achieving mama did all that work by herself!  Now, we arrived right after the fact, as one was still very 'goopy.' But R and I managed to help clean them up a bit and take care of Snow White until Daddy came home, then we got them all fixed up in the sun, made sure they both had a chance to eat and gave Mama a snack.
The twins, a boy and a girl, are doing really well.  And they look just alike!!!  The only difference I've found is that the little girl (on the right) has a few white spots on the belly, while the little boy doesn't.

This is the little boy, we've named him Little Man #2 (again, we can't keep the boys, so no sense in naming them).  He's a little weaker right now, but I'm sure by tomorrow he'll be running and playing and having a good time.

This is Jasmine.  She's very pretty and very sweet.  She's a little stronger than her brother, and absolutely ready to get this whole 'goat' thing figured out.  She was already trying the pasture to see what Mama's fuss was about.

So these are the newest additions to our farm.  On Friday, we'll have our newest 'human' addition, then we're ready for 25 more baby chicks and Cinderella's baby(s) in July.  It's always a lot of fun around here!
