We had our first appointment with a specialist today. We got some answers, but not really anything conclusive. He does not have food allergies. Which is a praise! I mean, what kid wants to not be able to eat pizza, cookies, scrambled eggs, cheese, etc etc. We celebrated his allergy testing by eating pizza tonight.
Unfortunately, that leaves a seemingly infinite number of possibilities of what is wrong. So, we'll celebrate what it's not, but continue on this path of trying to figure out what it is. His next specialist appointment is in June, but until that time we'll be trying all kinds of things to get this rash taken care of.
I'm maintaining my focus, though. My son belongs to the Great Physician, who has entrusted me to care for him on this earth. I know that God will heal my son. It won't be any earthly doctor or medicine. My God will take care of us. I'm so thankful for His mighty hand carrying us through this time.
