High Tea Party

I drove to go to my sister's birthday party today.  She wanted to have a girly party with friends and family.  So what do you pick for a grown-up party?  High Tea at a cute little bakery.  We had finger sandwiches, spinach and chicken quiche, cupcakes to die for, and of course tea.  R joined in on the fun and the owner even brought her a little teapot of peach mango iced tea and a little bitty tea cup for her to enjoy.  We felt so fancy-schmancy!  What a treat!  One of my sister's friends makes jewelry and had made a few pieces for her for her birthday that we all oogled over, and then the owner brought some of her handmade jewelry over for us to shop from.  Just like a bunch of little girls!  Looking at the pretty sparkly jewelry while sipping tea from our china teacups.
I highly recommend that any woman of any age should get her girlfriends together for high tea.  Very fun.
