This year, we were only going to do a little party for R for a few of her friends. But we had so much family that wanted to celebrate with us, we ended up with THREE parties! So, this past weekend, we went up to Tulsa for a little party with my family. R has several little cousins around her age, so the girls came over and had a little Princess makeover and a tea party before the big party. R had a blast. Of course, since R's birthday and my birthday are so close together, we went out to eat at my favorite place (versus R's favorite place - Chick-fil-a) for dinner. It's the same place I've been going since I was about 10 for my birthday. It's good to see that R loves it too, and has the stomach for it (she ate SO much food!)
Daddy and I also got R a new swing set for her birthday. Our neighbors were kind enough to sell us theirs and R is just in love with it. We got it all put up yesterday. Here are a few pictures of our weekend:
