This week's official challenge - the Garage! And the printable checklist.
When we moved out into the country, we found the house. You know? My husband drove by the locked gate at the front of the driveway and told me over the phone, "We're going to buy this house." We hadn't even driven up to the house or seen the inside. He just knew.
How did he know? It was a beautiful 5 acres, fully fenced and cross-fenced.
But the real reason? It had a 1200 sq ft. garage/workshop. The house we were currently living in was 1280 sq ft. This garage had serious potential.
Fast forward 4 1/2 years and that garage has serious potential. For collecting junk. There is so much j-u-n-k in that building it's ridiculous. Granted, we use it for everything. It's our goat-milking area, workshop, equipment storage, etc. But there's a lot of trash in there.
So your mission, should you choose to accept it (and you really should), is to grab your hubby and get that garage organized and purged.
Hubby will think you're nuts, but it will be so awesome when you're done! For most people, the garage is their first entry into their home. Why not make it organized so when you open that door it creates an instant feeling of peace. Like you can breathe and relax. Don't you want to feel that way when you come home?
If your garage is already organized, or you don't have one that you use for storage, use this week to catch up on other rooms!
Let us know how you're doing and encourage each other on this project!
